Anwen Griffiths is Head of Legal and Business Affairs for BBC Film, whose production slate includes Shane Meadow’s CHORK, Ruben Ostlund’s THE ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM IS DOWN, Yann Demange’s LINEAGE, Justine Triet’s FONDA, Raine Allen Miller’s THE ROOTS MANOEVRE and Mackenzie Crook’s directorial debut MARS EXPRESS and whose upcoming releases include Clio Barnard’s I SEE BUILDINGS FALL LIKE LIGHTNING and the big screen adaptation of hit BBC comedy GHOSTS: THE POSSESSION OF BUTTON HOUSE.

Anwen was previously a senior partner at Lee & Thompson, specialising in media finance and bringing over 25 years of experience in advising across all legal and commercial aspects of independent film. She has brought a strong background in the interplay between the commercial and public sector aspects of the industry in her current role at BBC Film, drawing on her prior capacity as Vice Chair of Ffilm Cymru Wales and a BFI Governor.
